Bagaduce Farm

Across the harbor from Castine's historic waterfront, on the eastern shore of the Bagaduce River, sits our 1760’s salt-water farmstead under a landmark elm tree of over 106 feet - maybe the tallest in Maine. Our meadows and forest are constantly washed by the prevailing salt air breezes. Today, small flocks of heritage-breed ducks, geese and chickens are gently hand-raised on verdant pastures for eggs and/or meat with organic, regenerative practices.
