Middle Earth Mushrooms is an outdoor shiitake farm, located in the woods of Seal Cove, Maine. We grow our mushrooms in natural conditions, on hardwood logs. Our shiitake have many advantages over their indoor, substrate-grown counterparts, including rich woodsy taste, firm, "meaty" texture and increased nutrition and health benefits.
